Comprehensive Major Medical
Insurance (Version A & B)
The chance of receiving in-hospital medical care
is inevitable. The expensive cost for it has become a financial
burden for most of the families. Relatively long-term in-hospital
medic-care is especially not affordable as far as average income
is concerned.
This comprehensive major medical insurance product
is developed to soothe this financial strains created by rising
hospitalization charges.
Benefits:
1, High Sum Assured
This Major Medical Plan will provide high hospitalization
coverage (up to 100,000RMB) to the Insured. It can be either an
independent plan or a rider to other basic plans.
2. Pre admission diagnosis expenses (within 60 days
prior to hospital confinement)
Reimbursement of fees charged by a specialist for
diagnosis x-rays and laboratory examinations recommended by a licensed
medical practitioner for the determination of an illness or injury.
Payment is made only if the insured is subsequently hospitalized
for treatment. Medication and treatment given by the specialist
is not payable.
3. Ambulance fees
Actual costs for local ambulance transportation.
4. Outpatient expenses for the cancer/ kidney dialysis
treatment
Reimbursement of the outpatient expenses for Cancer
treatment or kidney dialysis up to a maximum amount within 180
days after the end of relevant hospital confinement.
5. Worldwide protection
Coverage of emergency evacuation will be provided
in free by Europ Assistance for Plan 1 & 2.
6. None SMS reimbursement
80% of the expenses for the medicine out of the coverage
of Social Medical System can be reimbursed up to a maximum amount.
(Only applicable for version A).
7. No claim bonus
There shall be an annual payment limit for each insured
on annual accumulative basis subject to a maximum amount. In the
event that there are no claims during a year, the annual payment
limit shall increase by 6% in the following renewal year, which
can be applied for no more than five times.
